| AMANDARI...a family retreat in the tradition of a Balinese resort
As a second home and family beach retreat on the sand in Laguna Beach, the unique architecture at Amandari inspired Karen to complement the clean lines and ocean vistas with contemporized furniture of natural materials in muted tones with Balinese accents.
Transforming the existing home for new owners, Karen blended comfortable decor, vibrant art and exotic tropical accents to reinforce the Balinese theme. With respect for an exceptional architectural statement, Karen always retained focus, avoiding distractions or interuptions to views of the beach and ocean beyond.
Not content to limit design to interior decor alone, Karen collaborated with landscapers to frame ocean views through a green and white landscape pallet, complete with carved stone statuary ultimately across the manicured lawn to the beach, below.
