Redesign, renovation and re-branding of historic beach-front resort hotel in the heart of the seaside village of Del Mar; historic playground of many Hollywood stars and national luminaries drawn for horse-racing "where the turf meets the surf". Distinctively fresh design concept retaining charming traditional design elements yet creating hip retreat and gathering spot to meet, mingle and relax in the quaint coastal village with its famous Del Mar Horse track.
Comprehensive interior design and integrated stylistic continuity for entire resort from exterior, entry, lobby and common areas to guest rooms. Development of expanded terrace dining and outdoor living options with added water feature, expanded outdoor living areas and refined upscale pool as re-branded focal point to better extend (and connect) the resort with the sea.
